Every new Christian enters the kingdom of God as a “new-born babe.” A baby has a great craving for “spiritual milk.” However, an infant cannot hold a bottle. The child must be cared for by someone more mature. In fact, we all need others to assist us in our growth.

The assistance comes in many forms. It can be when a Pastor teaches from the Word of God. The home church provides the person with other Christians who can share and build them up. However, it’s most important that every person has someone who takes a special interest to care for, guide and be a companion to them in their spiritual journey.
