Spirit Led Life (2)
To ensure that we do lead a Spirit led life and see that life reproduced in others, we believe that there are various kinds of “meetings” that are essential.
- Equipping believers to lead a Spirit led life
- Meeting personally with the Lord
- Meeting with your natural family
- Meeting with the close family of believers
- Meeting with an extended family of believers
By looking at all these meetings, the simple life that Jesus desires for us can suddenly look complicated and far too demanding.
However if we relax and look at how we live life in the natural, we can then transfer it to the spiritual, find the balance and receive the peace and joy Jesus promises us.
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.(1 Cor 15:46)
Traditionally going to a church meeting meant a formal time with a fixed agenda. When we meet in the natural we don’t usually meet formally. If we use other words such as a get-together, a family gathering, connecting or hanging out with your friends, you suddenly get a different picture. You meet … you don’t necessarily have a formal meeting.
Most of our natural meetings are relaxed and enjoyable and we can come away from them feeling uplifted not drained.
Some meetings can be more formal, such as the celebration of a 21st Birthday. We can also receive formal education at school or receive on the job training through a mentor. All these can apply in the spiritual.
In this module we’ll be looking at how we can incorporate these truths into a simple lifestyle.
